Charles Leclerc vows to ‘play with the rules’ in F1 like Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen is known to ‘play with the rules’ in Formula 1 and Charles Leclerc believes he can showcase his aggressive side when he needs to.

In 2024, Max Verstappen won his fourth consecutive World Championship title, fending off a challenge from Lando Norris midway through the season. Verstappen faced clashes with Norris, leading to time penalties in Mexico. Leclerc praised Verstappen’s adaptability and aggressive approach, stating his own readiness to take risks and channel his inner Verstappen when needed. Reflecting on the season, Leclerc lamented Ferrari’s slow start, which deprived him of a real fight against Verstappen and hindered the team’s Constructors’ Championship chances.
